1) You may only legally use the ROMs contained in this archive, if you actually own the actual game, or the games PCB containing the ROMS , or have otherwise obtained a licence to allow use, or in some cases own a commercial game package which also makes use of those ROMs.

2) These ROMs, and their names remain the copyright, and/or trademark of their respective manufacturer, or copyright holder, unless they have been released into the public domain.

3) This ROM archive is for my own personal use, but may be used by others for the sole purpose of aiding in the repair / restoration of old game or game PCB's.Manufactuers no longer produce chips for the games archived here, and so are generally regarded as otherwise unavailable.Therefore these ROMs allow owners to produce new, replacement roms for their games, saving it from having to be scrapped.They may also be used with software emulators, such as Mame™ which effectively allow your PC to become the videogame hardware, in which case the game may or not behave correctly, as the purpose of Mame is to document the hardware of all games for future generations.

4) The use of these ROMs causes no financial harm to the the manufacturer, as these games are no longer produced, and generally not sited to generate revenue in arcades.You will not find any ROMs in this archive for games, which are still considered a viable source of revenue, in otherwords, all the games archived here are mostly over 15 years old.

5) You must not sell or distribute these ROMs in any way whatsoever, unless you are entitled to do so, they are solely for your own personal use.Also, they may not be distributed together with any emulator software, or as part of a package in any way.

6) Use of these ROMs, is entirely at your own risk, I and/or my service provider/s will not be held liable for any loss, damage, injury, whatsoever, although I have personally checked each one prior to archiving.

7) On a lighter and perhaps more important note, it's fair to say that without the efforts of the emulation authors, and those involved in actually dumping the ROMs from old games, that many of these games would simply no longer exist in any form.I, and many others who grew up whilst the videogame boom was starting, feel that we need to preserve this now very important part of our culture, in the same way we do music and films, so that future generations will be able to experience how the gaming industry started, and appreciate how it's since evolved.

8) This is a completely non profit website, however if the copyright holder of any of the games contained within this archive would prefer that their game is not preserved, and provided free for genuine owners use, then please contact me, and I shall be more than happy to remove your game/s, but please, before doing so, consider if it does you any real harm, isn't it better that people are still able to enjoy game/s which you no longer have any interest in?
